The Bag
Sitting on the tube yesterday I looked up and there at face level was a Hermes Birkin bag staring at me…. I saw a documentary about Birkin very late one evening last week… it’s one of those classic stories she sat next to someone from Hermes on a plane and drew a sketch and hey presto a bag, although I read somewhere that they actually charged her for one. I did some research and a Birkin will set you back from… wait for it £3000 and £500 for a fake one.
