Made it to class!

Happy: managed to get to yoga thanks to Sandy (dog) waking me up in time. Embarrassingly, for the first time ever my mobile went off, not just once, but twice in class - it was my alarm clock… for those that are wondering… I forgot it was on.

Everyone was very nice about the braces, although most people didn’t say anything and then I was in that situation where I didn’t know if I should make a joke about them or not. S said I looked younger and A said they looked sweet, neither is true, but it was good to hear.

I am becoming slightly obsessed with cleaning my teeth; they sparkle!

Do you need an alarm call at 11.30am?!

I would imagine that most people didn’t say anything about your braces because they didn’t notice them, or if they did, didn’t think they warranted a comment, or did not think it was their place to comment. I only noticed them when I remembered that you had just got them. I know you feel that they are defining your existence at the moment (and I would feel the same), but to other people they are just braces which are a temporary phenomenon in your face!
S may have a point - because people associate braces with teenagers or early 20’s!

Had a lovely weekend in Sheffield. Low point btw was Brokeback Mountain which I found very drawn out, overrated and ordinary.
