Arriving a bit late

for the Green Fair and Bikefest in Regents Park the weekend before last - I am a bit behind with the posts too…

I found this Lomo effect script for Photoshop on my flickr trails. It is perhaps a little too much, but I do love the highly saturated colour. Now I’ve just got to learn how it’s done. Here is the original - so different.

Pep talk

You know when you have one of those days, that just seems to make life worthwhile.

I occasionally work for a photographer, who’s been dragging her heals about going digital. I’ve been hoping for ages that she’d make the leap, so perhaps my flickr obsession and the research for myself rubbed off a little, because yesterday we were having this talk when spontaneously with an hour before the shop closed; her, me and the baby bundled into the car and drove across town to this wonderful Nikon camera shop to buy her a DSLR.

I can’t wait to see the results.

And I cycled in town for the first time in about a year and a half and it was wonderful - wind in hair and all.

Sarah Silverman MTV

OK, it’s late and I love Sarah Silverman, so I couldn’t resist posting this. It is rather cruel, did she know Hilton was in the audience? Look out for Jack Nicholson though, he steals the show by just being there. [should work again now].

Facebook

Are you doing the Facebook thing? I just had a friend get in touch who I haven’t heard from in a couple of years, that’s where it comes into its own.

Some kind of Firefox extension would be good.

Update 2 minutes later: of course there is one.
