I first saw her whilst I was at uni and unexpectedly that same group that went to see her all those years ago was nearly all there. One person I wasn’t expecting, a very good ex friend.  A bitter sweet meeting.  So many good memories and much hurt. Probably lots of misunderstandings.

A friend had an allotment party a couple of weeks ago… great place to go around with a camera. Plus Sandy absolutely loved it… all the nooks and crannies. She even managed to find some dog food. Only by the end of the day I couldn’t move my arm. I seem to have tendinitis in my shoulder-argh… Lots of ice needed.

Lovely walk with D at the weekend along the river.  Sandy had fun in the water.

Yesterday painted walls with Sarah – didn’t take my camera – silly me.

A lovely party at C’s on Saturday evening, although if I’d have been in New York, I could have been watching a film on a rooftop – thanks to the other C, not that I was going to be in NY – she was just saying.

These flowers were lovely, but they were falling down and C went and sat on them – sort of – so J found a prop.

L and I discussed teeth and Ortho’s – she’s the only other person in London I know with braces and we are going to the same Ortho – completely by chance.

Sometimes the will is there, but the body isn’t quite up to it. Still have the anemia – a little bored of feeling so tired. In the last couple of weeks though I’ve noticed that my brain is functioning better, slowly does it.

Lovely day on Saturday seeing some friends, but over did it a bit. It’s just knowing when it’s time to go home. A and I ended up having brunch at the not so new Raoul’s in Notting Hill, I’ve missed those eggs.

Then I had a car thing again – which all got sorted out, but while it was happening I had an hour to kill, so I went sale shopping and found a jumper I’d looked at before reduced by 50%. One good thing about the weather, it seemed fine to be trying on winter jumpers.

Yesterday was full on, I worked for C who had two guests Jane, an old friend I haven’t seen for years and K who I stayed with the last time I was in NY. There was lots of talking and laughter. I have an ulcer to prove it.

Not so nice I drove up and got a parking ticket for not filling out the permit properly… I’m about to ring. Camden tickets have gone up to £120. I was very calm about it.
